FortisBC

Each year FortisBC funds community programs where we live and work. Through the Community Investment Program, we partner with grassroots initiatives, non-profits and social giving groups who have creative insights into the specific needs of their communities. That is how we help make a difference - one relationship and one community at a time.

Brenda Renewables

Committed to the mission of taking organics out of landfills and supporting the creation of a sustainable future. Our site, 25 kilometers west of Peachland, BC, in Western Canada, has allowed us to develop innovative solutions for organic waste diversion and conversion.

District of Peachland

Peachland sits on the west side of Okanagan Lake in the beautiful Central Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada. Our vibrant and growing hillside and lakefront community is home to almost 6,400 people. It features a three-kilometre waterfront trail, the Okanagan's only lifeguarded swimming park, a bustling business community and countless natural recreation opportunities.

Papa Thom

Papa Thom began his musical adventure over 50 years ago.  While his chosen genre of music is best categorized as folk, Keith "Papa" Thom is an accomplished singer/songwriter in numerous styles. He’s a natural on guitar with fingers flowing effortlessly over the frets. His voice is strong, diction clear, and range impressive.
